Responsible for the technical operations of the Core Laboratory. Responsible for 16
staff members and is responsible for performance reviews, employee relations issues and scheduling. ASCP required. Bachelors Degree, 5 to 8 years of clinical lab expereince. Customer service oriented. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull. Must be hands on as needed when necessary.

Preferred: Massters Degree and Specialty Certification for Technical Assignment

Medical Practice Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor works independently and has primary responsibility for the supervision of the medical assistants and front desk reception staff in the Southern Division which comprises the Cumberland County and Gloucester Office locations. The Front Office Supervisor is expected to focus on employee development and growth by fostering and coaching employees, delegating work, and setting high expectations. This position is responsible for supervising the operational and clinical competency skills of the medical assistants and administrative skills of the front desk receptionists that work in the practice. In addition, the Front Office Supervisor is responsible for creating staff schedules including assigning and coordinating breaks and re-assigning tasks when there are changes to the schedule. The Front Office Supervisor oversees the office flow ensuring an efficient, well run operation paying attention to room utilization, wait times and provider productivity.

As a working hands-on supervisor, this position will also assist in the delivery of care to patients in the practice. Responsibilities include assisting the front desk receptionist during peak periods to minimize wait time and assisting with medical assistant responsibilities by working in close collaboration with the Physician and other health care personnel to assure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operations by obtaining necessary information (lab/test results, etc.), ensuring appropriate documentation in the patient's record, identifying and closing care gaps, and communicating with the physician anything that will need to be addressed at the next visit.

This is a full time temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent. Hours are dictated by the doctors' schedules for office locations in Moorestown, Marlton and Voorhees.
